- Disposable scalpel blades are razor sharp, come in a variety of shapes and have many uses, like surgery and gross dissection. These scalpels are comprised of a reusable handle and disposable scalpel blades, usually sold separately. Scalpel blades are sterile, individually packaged blades designed for single use. Used blades should be disposed of properly.
Instruction of Use ;
- Attaching a disposable scalpel blade to the reusable handle is easy.
- Grasp the blade with a needle holder just above the opening of the non-cutting side.
- Align the groove on the handle with the opening of the blade.
- Slide the blade into the handle until it clicks into place.
Scalpels come in packages of 100 and are individually packaged as sterile units. Made from Carbon Steel. Different size is different shapes. Please refer the picture attached.
